Our Impact
Waymaker, Inc. was founded with the intention of providing programs to help families become whole, and help students to strive and reach their academic and career goals.
Garrick Campbell, MAT, the founder and visionary of Waymaker, Inc., and the chief architect of its amazing programs, has trailblazed with academic excellence, academies throughout the span of the past 30 years. The academies have successfully served in the state of Connecticut, and the city of Bridgeport, and the Greater Hartford County.
As a pillar in the community, his leadership, motivation, and love for education has created an atmosphere that stirs up the intellectual curiosity, and expanded the horizon of many youth. Over the past 30 years, through the academic excellence academies and programs, the Waymaker, Inc. team under Mr. Campbell’s leadership has achieved a few notable academic milestones: One hundred percent (100%) high school graduation rate, eighty nine percent (89%) enrollment in college/university, and eighty four percent (84%) graduation from college/university.
Our Mission
At Waymaker, Inc. our mission is to provide academic programs to challenge, inspire, and improve the academic performance, and social aptitude of the youth to succeed at their highest level. Also to intervene in the high drop-out and push-out rate among the At-risk youth population, and provide them with the proper knowledge, skill set, and scholarship to help them pursue and succeed in their educational and professional pursuit.

Waymaker, Inc. was founded in 2024 with the motivation, drive, and vision to provide programs and services to better the lives of the citizens in the Greater Hartford community and beyond. It is the belief of the founder, and the members of the board, that the most gifted and talented among us are those that lack the opportunity and resources to tap into and unlock their potential, advance themselves, and become major contributors in our society.
Waymaker, Inc. was founded on the principle of intervening and opening doors of opportunity for the gifted and talented young minds, so that our communities will become the beneficiaries of their genius. We are passionate about building community, empowering the family and the youth, and making a difference in their lives.
